Frequently Asked Questions

Short answers to what comes up most often before a project starts. If something is missing, ask directly.

How is pricing determined?

Project-based. The drivers are the amount and condition of the raw footage, the scope (captions, colour, sound, motion graphics), the number of videos, the turnaround and where the video will be used. Cutting a 30-second video from 40 minutes of footage is several times the work of cutting it from two minutes, which is why length alone is not a useful basis for a price.

How long does an edit take?

A single vertical video is usually ready for first review within one to two business days after the complete footage arrives. Motion-graphics-heavy work takes two to four. The clock starts when files are complete — a logo or audio file arriving later moves the schedule.

How many revisions are included?

Two full rounds. What matters more than the number is the line between a revision and new work: changing the caption typeface is a revision, rebuilding the video on a different editing concept is a new job. That line is agreed before starting.

How do I send the footage?

Google Drive, WeTransfer or iCloud, as the original files. Video sent through messaging apps is compressed and the lost quality cannot be restored. If you are sharing from a phone, use the “send original” option where it exists.

Do you work with clients outside Turkey?

Yes. All work is remote and all communication is written, in English or Turkish. Istanbul is UTC+3, which overlaps the European morning and the US East Coast afternoon.

Do you shoot video as well?

No. Filming is not offered. Editing, motion graphics and sound design are the scope. If you have no footage, a format built entirely from motion graphics and stock material can be discussed instead.

Can you cut shorts from my long recordings?

Yes, and it is one of the most efficient ways to publish consistently. A 20 to 30 minute talk, podcast episode or livestream usually yields three to five self-contained short videos. The selection criterion is whether a section makes sense on its own, taken out of context.

Who owns the finished video?

Usage rights sit with you. Whether the work can appear in this portfolio is agreed separately; if permission is not given, it is not published here and your name is not used.

Is a brief really necessary?

A short one saves a revision round. Five lines covering platform, audience, purpose, tone and anything that must not appear is enough. If writing it is awkward, a few questions will get there instead.

Send your project details and you will get a specific quote rather than a price list.
